About
My name is Jennifer Dillon. I am a Chartered Physiotherapist. I completed my
undergraduate degree at the University of Salford Greater Manchester in 2001.
I have worked in the UK and Irish public health care settings since.
This Work has been varied to include musculoskeletal, orthopaedics, cardiothoracic & respiratory care, cardiac rehabilitation, stroke rehabilitation, general Paediatrics, antenatal and post-natal care and education, palliative care. I am a yoga alliance registered yoga teacher and a pregnancy yoga teacher.
I have a keen interest in preventative health and have been an external provider to the HSE Health and well being programmes and corporate wellness programmes in a number of areas over the last 5 years.
I provide mind body-based exercise programme to the acute mental health services
in Kilkenny since 2016.
I currently work as part of a Multidisciplinary team in a specialist Pain Clinic.
We offer treatment for people who have experienced persistent pain over a longer period than expected I offer tailored 1:1 and group-based exercise programmes
for people experiencing persistent pain.
There is nothing I enjoy more than offering a pop-up yoga class to the general population in beautiful outdoor locations that we have here in Kilkenny.
